For sale is a meticulously serviced Vestax PMC-05 Pro II scratch mixer including a 240V DC wall supply.
We at MixerRemix disassembled the unit, washed and cleaned the chassis, lower panel and top faceplate before inspecting all the boards for any faults.
Once dry the mixer was carefully re-assembled, had the input channel switches upgraded to our robust baton slide switches and each fader was dismantled, polished, cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and re-lubricated to make them as good as new. Knobs were cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
The headphone volume and PGM balance faders were also carefully de-soldered, disassembled and serviced before re-assembly.
The PSU board was serviced with new power Panasonic FC smoothing caps and out of tolerance components were replaced.
This mixer comes with our standard 12 month warranty and will be shipped via a tracked and insured courier.
Summary:
This is a very clean unit inside and out with no major knocks. Cosmetically the mixer is a 8/10. There are some marks to the EQ faceplate in the middle and to the right of PGM2’s knobs. The main faceplate is absolutely beautiful and shows almost no signs of wear which is rare to see. The mixer has been thoroughly serviced and has been upgraded with improved toggle switches.
