Vestax PMC-CX Rare Upgraded & Serviced Rotary Mixer Inc AC-20 PSU

Here is a very rare opportunity to buy 1 of only 2 custom modded Vestax PMC-CX mixers and itself the only rotary version. Fully serviced it is working flawlessly.

Serial number 010077 (77th one built)

Rare by themselves this rotary unit was sent to Vestax UK shortly after purchasing to be upgraded with a custom channel assignable send and return FX capability. By pressing the button above the channel knob you can select which channels output to the FX loop. 

Confirmed by Paul Morrissey (original designer) and Mr Scruff, the upgrade was originally commissioned by Mr Scruff and implemented by Vestax's service engineer on his slide fader model. Our customer had his unit sent in for the same treatment.

The mixer has just undergone a full service and has had the following work performed on it:

• The power supply PCB has been re-built, all new Nichicon UPW smoothing capacitors, new Vishay bridge rectifier, re-soldered voltage regulator pads and new silicone thermal insulators to help keep the power supply running cooler and for longer.
• 12x new Alpha RK163 isolator pots (3 per channel, 3 on the master isolator)
• 12x toggle switches disassembled and contacts cleaned to prevent distortion or intermittent signal.
• 12x new ALPS SPEA push button switches.
• 3x new E-Switch CF toggle switches for the crossfader assign as the originals had lost their "snap"
• 2x new headphone jacks
• 2x new VU meter bulbs
• 16x new faceplate screws 
• All pots cleaned with contact cleaner
• Weak solder joints re-flowed

The unit has been tested thoroughly and comes with it's original 230V AC-20 external power supply. If you require a different voltage we can supply you with one of our MixerRemix AC-20 supplies.
