This is a pre-order for a very beautiful Vestax PMC-07 scratch mixer due to be serviced in the next week.

The mixer is in very good condition and will look absolutely superb after its service. No dents or marks on the chassis, the screen printing on the EQ plate is perfect and the fader plate bears some minor rubbing around the crossfader area. There is a very tiny rust area near the top left mounting ear hole, this will be treated in the service and is barely noticeable. All RCAs are intact and secure, the channel faders are the original ALPS type and will be upgraded to our NOS SFV faders and also our CF-1 crossfaders for that smooth feel.
Overall I’d say this unit is a 7.5/10
Our service includes:
Disassembling the unit, washing and cleaning the chassis, lower panel and top faceplate before inspecting all the boards for any faults.
Once dry the mixer is carefully re-assembled, every single fader (17 in total) will be dismantled, polished, cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and re-lubricated to make them as smooth and as good as new. The RCA terminals and voltage regulators are re-soldered to prevent any dry solder joints. The headphone jack will be replaced and all the knobs will be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. All toggle switches are also disassembled and cleaned to prevent oxidisation from affecting the audio signal and finally new faceplate screws and IS-05 toggle switches are to be installed.
The overall condition of the unit is 8.5 / 10.
